crooked just like me…

During the slow season of the industry I’m working in, how do I keep my creativity boosting up? Instead of FBing, I’ve found an excellent way to kill time – back to the classic, I don’t need an iPhone or T1, and just grab anything within my reach. An agenda, a note book, a sketch pad, and even backsides of used copy paper. A blue Color-Erase pencil, a regular pencil, and an eraser are more than enough.

Missed my nephew, Dadi, very much…

This one is quite challenging… Used lots of eraser

4PM afternoon. Starved for some fruit tarts…

In conclusion, a drawing a day, you will to be better at it.

Polly Lin is working.

Polly Lin is currently working as a production artist and has been providing service in printing industry for 5+ years. She was commissioned doing portraits and used to work with a famous manga artist in Taiwan. Duties were mostly drawing buildings and applying effects. She then moved to the U.S. when she was 20 years old. Her childhood dream of becoming a manga artist did not come true because how the system works in the U.S. was far beyond her expectation. She studied Illustration in college, but working as a prepress technician is bread and butter. Production experiences have helped significantly for her creativity to grow.
